What age groups do you tutor?
I primarily support students age 7-12 (Year 2 to Year 7).
Do you only offer online tutoring or is face-to-face also available?
I offer online lessons for maximum flexibility and convenience.
How do online lessons work?
Sessions are held on Zoom. It is expected that students' cameras are on as this promotes maximum engagement. I use a variety of online resources and interactive games. Students may use a tablet or laptop. Lesson resources are uploaded onto Google Classroom.
Do you provide homework?
I can provide optional practice activities in between sessions if requested. This homework will be customised based on what was covered in the sessions.
How will my child's progress be monitored?
During the first session, I conduct a pre-assessment to assess your child's strengths and areas of development. I then create a medium term plan which I share with the family. I share updates on your child's progress against these targets after each lesson via Tutorbird.
Do you provide trial lessons?
Yes! I offer a paid trial lesson to ensure that my tutoring style is the right fit for your child.
